Laughter Is Holy

Proverb Truth
Some of my favorite family memories involve laughter. Not vacations. Not accomplishments. Just laughter. The kind that sneaks up on you. The kind that leaves tears rolling down your face.
Laughter is one of God’s sweetest gifts. And perhaps we don’t appreciate it nearly enough.
Perhaps heaven smiles when families laugh together. Because laughter reminds us that life is a gift.
Jesus in Action
People enjoyed being around Jesus. Children ran to Him. Friends gathered around Him. And I have a hard time imagining a life filled with so much love that wasn’t also filled with joy.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “True joy is a serious thing.” Joy isn’t shallow. It’s sacred.
The No Limits Challenge
Laugh today. Not someday. Today.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of joy. Help me not become so busy with responsibilities that I forget to enjoy the blessings You’ve already placed in my life. Amen.
