Don’t Miss the Season You’re In

Proverb Truth
We’re always tempted to live somewhere other than where we are. Young parents dream about having more freedom. Empty nesters miss the noise.
Every season contains gifts. Not perfect gifts. But gifts nonetheless. Children eventually grow up. Parents eventually grow older. Friends move away.
Perhaps wisdom means embracing the season we’re in instead of constantly longing for the next one.
Jesus in Action
Jesus embraced each season His Father placed before Him. He never seemed anxious to hurry ahead.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “He suffers more than necessary, who suffers before it is necessary.” A beautiful reminder not to miss today worrying about tomorrow.
The No Limits Challenge
Stop wishing for another season. Thank God for the one you’re in.
Prayer
Father, help me embrace this chapter of life with gratitude. Teach me to see Your goodness in every season. Amen.
