Comparison Is Exhausting

Proverb Truth
A man in his seventies who still exercised regularly smiled and said, “Billy, I stopped trying to be who I used to be. Now I’m trying to become the best version of who I am today.”
None of us are competing with twenty-year-old versions of ourselves. We’re simply stewarding the season God has entrusted to us. Peace begins when we stop comparing and start appreciating.
Jesus in Action
Jesus never compared Himself to anyone. His identity rested completely in His Father.

Musonius Rufus wrote: “It is not the strongest body that matters, but the strongest character.” Character has no age limit.
The No Limits Challenge
Stop looking sideways. Look upward. And give thanks.
Prayer
Father, free me from the trap of comparison. Help me appreciate the season You’ve given me. Amen.
