Learn to Say No

Proverb Truth
I’ve discovered that one of the hardest words in the English language is a simple two-letter word. No.
But life has taught me that saying yes to everything eventually means saying no to something important. God never called me to do everything. He simply called me to be faithful.
Boundaries are not selfish. They’re stewardship. Because if we don’t protect our time, someone else will gladly spend it for us.
Jesus in Action
Jesus often said no. He withdrew from crowds. He left opportunities unfinished. He disappointed people. But He never disappointed His Father.
Forged Wisdom
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Very little is needed for a happy life.” Sometimes peace is found not in adding more, but in carrying less.
The No Limits Challenge
Say no to one thing this week so you can say yes to something better.
Prayer
Father, give me wisdom to set healthy boundaries and courage to live according to Your priorities rather than everyone else’s expectations. Amen.
