Don’t Neglect Your Soul

Proverb Truth
I’ve discovered that it’s possible to succeed in many areas of life while quietly neglecting the most important one. Our relationship with God.
Spiritual drift doesn’t usually happen dramatically. Prayer becomes rushed. Scripture becomes occasional. Busyness becomes normal.
Success cannot nourish the soul. Money can’t. Achievements can’t. Because our souls were created for something deeper. They were created for God.
Jesus in Action
No matter how busy life became, Jesus continually withdrew to spend time with His Father. If the Son of God needed quiet places, perhaps we do too.
Forged Wisdom
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Look within. Within is the fountain of good.” For the follower of Christ, that fountain begins with the God who lives within us.
The No Limits Challenge
Spend fifteen uninterrupted minutes with God today. No agenda. Just relationship.
Prayer
Father, forgive me for the times I’ve neglected my soul. Draw me close to You again and remind me that true life begins in Your presence. Amen.
