Faithfulness in Small Things

Proverb Truth
Most of us love dramatic stories. Big victories. Overnight success. Breakthrough moments. But if I’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that life rarely changes overnight. More often, it changes slowly. Almost quietly. One decision at a time.
The truth is, much of life feels ordinary. And if we’re not careful, we can begin to despise ordinary days because they don’t seem impressive. But God has always done remarkable things through ordinary faithfulness. Little by little. Step by step. Year by year.
Maybe that’s why Proverbs speaks so often about diligence. Because God is usually doing more in the process than we can see in the moment.
Jesus in Action
Jesus spent thirty years preparing for three years of ministry. Thirty quiet years. Thirty ordinary years. And not one of them was wasted.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “While we are postponing, life speeds by.” Great things are often built one faithful day at a time.
The No Limits Challenge
Be faithful in today’s assignment, even if it feels small.
Prayer
Father, help me remain faithful in ordinary seasons. Teach me not to despise small beginnings and remind me that You are at work even when progress seems slow. Amen.
