Proverb Truth
Years ago, I went through a difficult season where I discovered something I probably should have known all along. Success is enjoyable. Accomplishments are satisfying. But neither one will sit beside you when life falls apart. People will. Friends will. Family will.
Looking back, some of the richest seasons of my life had very little to do with money. They were filled with conversations. Friendships. Shared memories. Laughter. Encouragement.
The truth is, loneliness is expensive. Not financially. Spiritually. Emotionally. And relationally.
Jesus in Action
Jesus surrounded Himself with friends. He laughed with them. Ate with them. Traveled with them. And in His darkest hour, He longed for their presence.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Without a friend no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods.” Because relationships have always been one of life’s greatest riches.

Reach out to a friend today and strengthen that relationship.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life. Help me value relationships and teach me to become the kind of friend I hope to have. Amen.
