Wealth With Wisdom

“Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels.”

Proverb Truth
When I was younger, I assumed that if I could just earn enough money, most of life’s problems would disappear. But money without wisdom can be dangerous.
I’ve seen people inherit fortunes and destroy their lives. I’ve seen successful businesses collapse because pride replaced wisdom.
Perhaps that’s why some of the wisest people I’ve known weren’t necessarily the wealthiest. But they were the most content. The most gracious. The most joyful. And somehow, they always seemed rich.
Jesus in Action
Jesus continually amazed people with His wisdom. Not because He sought recognition, but because His life was completely surrendered to the Father.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Wisdom is the only good that cannot be taken away.” The older I get, the more I believe that may be one of the greatest treasures a man can possess.

Seek wisdom today with the same passion you seek success.
Prayer
Father, help me desire wisdom more than wealth. Teach me to make decisions that honor You and produce peace. Amen.
