Wealth Is a Tool
Day 139 of 365 • FINANCES

Proverb Truth
I remember talking with a man years ago who had done very well financially. As we sat together, he said something I’ll never forget. “Billy, money is a wonderful servant, but it’s a terrible master.”
God never intended resources to become our identity. He intended them to become tools. Tools to bless. Tools to serve. Tools to leave the world a little better than we found it.
And perhaps maturity is finally realizing that we’re owners of very little and stewards of everything.
Jesus in Action
Jesus never despised wealth, but neither did He worship it. He continually pointed people toward treasures that moths couldn’t destroy and markets couldn’t touch.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Money has never yet made anyone rich.” True riches are measured by peace, purpose, and relationships—not possessions.
The No Limits Challenge
Ask yourself: “Am I using my resources to serve others, or am I spending my life serving my resources?”
Prayer
Father, help me remember that everything I have ultimately belongs to You. Teach me to steward wisely what You’ve entrusted to me. Amen.
