Proverb Truth
Years ago, someone gave me a piece of financial advice so simple that it almost sounded disappointing. Spend less than you make.
The world around us constantly encourages us to consume. Bigger. Newer. Faster. Better. And if we’re not careful, we begin building lifestyles that require more and more just to maintain.
I’ve discovered that margin is one of God’s gifts. Financial margin. Time margin. Emotional margin. Because margin creates freedom. And freedom creates peace.
Jesus in Action
Jesus lived simply. Not because He lacked power, but because His heart was anchored in something greater. His possessions never possessed Him.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca understood that a man who is content with little is richer than a man who is enslaved by endless desires.

Father, teach me to be a wise steward of the resources You’ve entrusted to me. Help me live with contentment, freedom, and gratitude. Amen.
