Proverb Truth
One of the beautiful things about family is that it gives us endless opportunities to practice grace. And one of the difficult things about family is that it gives us endless opportunities to practice grace.
Because people are imperfect. And if we’re honest, so are we. Over the years, I’ve learned that relationships thrive when grace becomes normal. And because we’ve received grace, we’re free to extend it.
Jesus in Action
Jesus met broken people with truth, but He wrapped that truth in compassion. He didn’t lower the standard. He simply raised the level of grace.
Forged Wisdom
Musonius Rufus believed that patience with others is one of the marks of wisdom. Perhaps that’s because grace changes people far better than condemnation ever has.
The No Limits Challenge
Extend grace where you would normally extend criticism.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the mercy You’ve shown me. Help me create a home where grace is abundant and love is stronger than resentment. Amen.
