April  •  Day 25

Keep Short Accounts

Day 115 of 365  •  FAMILY

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Proverbs 28:13 (ESV)

Proverb Truth

I’ve discovered that little things become big things when we ignore them long enough. Small frustrations. Unspoken hurts. Misunderstandings.

Healthy families aren’t families without conflict. They’re families that deal with conflict. They apologize. They forgive. They talk things through. And they refuse to let resentment take root.

Because resentment rarely destroys relationships overnight. It grows slowly. And that’s why wisdom teaches us to deal with things while our hearts are still soft.

Jesus in Action

Jesus continually restored people. Peter failed Him. Thomas doubted Him. Yet Jesus pursued restoration rather than rejection. Love always seeks reconciliation.

Forged Wisdom

Musonius Rufus taught that honesty strengthens relationships because truth builds trust. And trust is too valuable to neglect.

The No Limits Challenge

Have the conversation you’ve been avoiding.

Prayer

Father, protect my heart from resentment. Teach me to pursue peace quickly and keep my relationships healthy and strong. Amen.
