Proverb Truth
Most people don’t fail because they make one terrible decision.
More often, they drift. A little compromise here. A little neglect there. Nothing dramatic. Nothing obvious.
Until one day they wake up wondering how they ended up so far from where they intended to be.
I’ve learned that direction matters more than speed. You can move quickly in the wrong direction and still end up lost.
That’s why Solomon tells us to pay attention to our path. Not just our intentions. Not just our goals. Our path. Because the choices we make today are quietly shaping the destination we’ll arrive at tomorrow.
Jesus in Action
Jesus never lost sight of His mission. Crowds couldn’t distract Him. Critics couldn’t derail Him. He remained faithful to the Father’s calling all the way to the cross.
Forged Wisdom
Epictetus observed: “First say to yourself what you would be; then do what you have to do.”
Purpose requires consistency.
The No Limits Challenge
Evaluate one area of your life today. Ask: “Where is this path leading?”
Prayer
Father, help me remain faithful on the path You’ve set before me. Give me the wisdom to recognize drift and the courage to make corrections when necessary. Amen.
