Patience Wins
Day 81 of 365 • FOCUS

Proverb Truth
I’ve noticed that most of the things God has done in my life have taken longer than I wanted.
Prayers took longer. Growth took longer. Healing took longer. Success took longer.
And if I’m honest, there were seasons when I wondered why God seemed to move so slowly.
But looking back, I can see something now that I couldn’t see then. God wasn’t just interested in changing my circumstances. He was interested in changing me.
Patience has a way of exposing what’s really happening in our hearts. It reveals whether we trust God or simply trust our plans. It shows us whether we’re content to walk with Him or whether we’re constantly trying to run ahead.
The truth is, impatience rarely improves anything. But patience often improves everything.
Jesus in Action
Jesus never seemed rushed by the Father’s timetable. He understood that God’s timing is never accidental. Every miracle. Every conversation. Every step toward the cross happened exactly when it was supposed to happen.
Forged Wisdom
Epictetus wrote: “No great thing is created suddenly.”
Growth requires time. So does wisdom.
The No Limits Challenge
Practice patience in one area where you’ve been frustrated.
Prayer
Father, teach me to trust Your timing. Help me become patient enough to walk at Your pace instead of demanding my own. Amen.
