A Quiet Soul Is a Beautiful Thing

I’ve come to appreciate quiet things. Quiet mornings. Quiet conversations. Quiet faith. Quiet confidence.

The world constantly tells us to be louder. Busier. More impressive. But I’ve discovered that many of God’s greatest gifts arrive quietly. Peace. Contentment. Wisdom. Love.

And honestly, I think one of the most beautiful qualities a man can possess is a quiet soul. Not because he lacks passion. But because he trusts God.

Looking back, I realize I spent too many years trying to prove things. But age has taught me that peace is far more beautiful than pressure.

Even while storms raged, Jesus slept. Because His peace rested in His Father. And perhaps ours can too.

Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Nowhere can man find a quieter or more untroubled retreat than in his own soul.” And Scripture would remind us that true rest is found in Christ.
