Leave More Blessings Than Burdens

I’ve attended enough funerals to notice something. People rarely talk about possessions. They talk about impact. They talk about kindness. Generosity. Faithfulness. Laughter. Character.

Because at the end of life, what people remember most isn’t what we accumulated. It’s what we contributed.

And honestly, I want my life to leave behind more blessings than burdens. More encouragement than criticism. More hope than fear. More laughter than complaints. More faith than doubt.

Because every person leaves something behind. The question is: What are we leaving?

Jesus left hope everywhere He went. And perhaps His followers should do the same.

Seneca wrote: “Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.” What beautiful wisdom. Because opportunities for kindness surround us every day.
