The Best Stories Begin With “Remember When?”

Proverb Truth
Some of my favorite conversations begin with three simple words. “Remember when?”
Remember when the kids were little? Remember that vacation? Remember how God provided? Remember that answered prayer?
Those conversations have become increasingly precious to me. Because stories are more than memories. They’re reminders. Reminders that God has been faithful. Reminders that difficult seasons don’t last forever. Reminders that blessings often arrive in unexpected ways.
Looking back, I’ve realized that some of the greatest treasures I possess are not things. They’re stories. Stories filled with laughter. Stories filled with lessons. Stories filled with grace.
Jesus in Action
Jesus often taught through stories. Because stories reach places facts alone cannot. And perhaps heaven itself is telling a story of redemption.

Marcus Aurelius wrote: “The art of living resembles wrestling more than dancing.” And every scar, every struggle, and every victory eventually becomes part of the story.
The No Limits Challenge
Tell a “remember when” story to someone you love.

Father, thank You for the stories You’ve written throughout my life. May they become testimonies of Your goodness for generations to come. Amen.
