Grace Was Always Greater

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Proverb Truth
When I was younger, I thought strength was the goal. I wanted to be capable. Independent. Self-sufficient. But life has taught me that strength and dependence are not enemies.
Some of the greatest lessons I’ve learned came during seasons when I wasn’t strong at all. Seasons when I needed help. Seasons when I couldn’t fix things. Seasons when I had no choice but to trust God.
And looking back, I realize those seasons weren’t interruptions. They were invitations. Invitations to discover that His grace truly was enough. Not almost enough. Enough.
Because I’ve found that God often does His deepest work when we finally stop pretending we have everything under control.
Jesus in Action
Jesus didn’t come for the strong. He came for the needy. The broken. The weary. And because of Him, grace became available to us all.
Forged Wisdom
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Be content with what you are, and wish not change; nor dread your last day, nor long for it.” And perhaps contentment begins with recognizing that God’s grace is enough for today.
The No Limits Challenge
Thank God for a weakness that taught you dependence upon Him.
Prayer
Father, thank You that Your grace has always been enough. Help me stop striving to appear strong and teach me to rest in Your strength. Amen.
