November • Day 20
Thankful for the Hard Seasons
Day 324 of 365 • FAITH
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
— Romans 8:28 (ESV)
Proverb Truth
I never imagined I would say this. But there are seasons of difficulty that I’m now grateful for. Not because they were enjoyable. They weren’t. But because they changed me.
Hard seasons taught me compassion. They taught me patience. They taught me dependence upon God. They taught me that strength and control are not the same thing.
Looking back, I can see that many of the qualities I value most today were forged in seasons I would never have chosen. And perhaps that’s why gratitude grows with maturity. Because maturity recognizes that God wastes nothing. Not pain. Not disappointment. Not loss. Not tears.
Jesus in Action
Jesus transformed suffering into redemption. And because He did, we can trust that God still brings beauty from ashes.
Forged Wisdom
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.” And perhaps God’s grace transforms obstacles into opportunities for growth.
The No Limits Challenge
Thank God for a difficult season that helped shape who you are today.
Prayer
Father, thank You that You waste nothing. Help me trust You in every season and remind me that Your grace is present even in life’s hardest chapters. Amen.
