“Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on.”

Proverb Truth
Most men don’t wreck their lives with one giant decision. It’s usually smaller than that. One compromise. One rationalization. One little exception.
I’ve learned that the enemy rarely shows up waving a red flag. More often, temptation comes disguised as something harmless.
That’s why Solomon’s advice is so strong. He doesn’t say to flirt with danger. He says to avoid it altogether.
Because some battles are won by walking away before they ever begin.
Jesus in Action
When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus didn’t negotiate. He didn’t entertain the lies. He stood firmly on truth.
Forged Wisdom
Musonius Rufus taught that virtue grows when we avoid what weakens the soul.
Wisdom often looks like walking away.

Identify one area where you’ve been tolerating compromise. Take one step away from it today.
Prayer
Father, give me the wisdom to recognize danger and the courage to turn away from anything that pulls me from You. Amen.
