Marriage Needs Attention

I’ve discovered that marriages don’t drift toward intimacy. They drift toward distance. Not because people stop loving each other. But because life gets busy.

Marriages are strengthened less by grand gestures and more by daily kindness. By listening. By serving. By choosing one another again and again.

Solomon doesn’t merely say to tolerate the wife of your youth. He says to rejoice. Because after all these years, that relationship is still a gift.

Jesus loves His bride with patience, grace, and unwavering commitment. And every Christian marriage finds its highest example in Him.

Seneca wrote: “Associate with people who are likely to improve you.” And perhaps nowhere is that blessing more beautiful than in marriage.
