September • Day 3
The Little Things Become the Big Things
Day 246 of 365 • FAMILY
“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it.”
— Proverbs 15:17 (ESV)
Proverb Truth
I’ve discovered that family memories are rarely built through spectacular moments. They’re built through ordinary moments repeated over time. Pizza nights. Birthday traditions. Saturday mornings. Inside jokes.
Those little things don’t seem important while they’re happening. But years later, they’re often the very things we cherish most. Because love lives in ordinary places.
Jesus in Action
Jesus continually embraced ordinary life. Meals. Conversations. Celebrations. He showed us that sacred moments are often disguised as ordinary ones.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, who is poor.” Perhaps rich families are measured less by possessions and more by memories.
The No Limits Challenge
Create a small memory today. Someday it may become priceless.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the beauty hidden inside ordinary life. Help me recognize and treasure the moments that truly matter. Amen.
