September  •  Day 29

Say the Words

Day 272 of 365  •  FAMILY

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

Proverbs 16:24 (ESV)

Proverb Truth

I’ve attended enough funerals to know something that has become increasingly important to me. Don’t wait.

Don’t wait to say “I love you.” Don’t wait to say, “I’m proud of you.” Don’t wait to say, “Thank you.” Don’t wait to say, “I forgive you.”

One of the regrets many people carry is not the things they said. It’s the things they left unsaid. Everyone needs to hear those words. No matter how old they are.

Jesus in Action

Again and again, Jesus spoke life into people. His words restored dignity, hope, and courage.

Forged Wisdom

Seneca wrote: “Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.” And sometimes kindness sounds like words.

The No Limits Challenge

Tell someone you love exactly what they mean to you. Don’t assume they know. Say the words.

Prayer

Father, help me use my words to bless and encourage. Teach me not to leave important things unsaid. Amen.
