Diligence Over Talent

Proverb Truth
When I was younger, I assumed talented people had some kind of advantage the rest of us didn’t. But life has convinced me that talent alone doesn’t carry a man very far.
I’ve known gifted people who wasted opportunities because they lacked discipline. And I’ve known ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary things simply because they kept showing up. Day after day. Year after year.
Maybe that’s because consistency eventually outruns brilliance. God has always done remarkable things through ordinary people who were willing to be faithful.
Jesus in Action
Jesus chose fishermen, tax collectors, and ordinary men to change the world. Not because they were the most impressive. But because they were willing.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.” Most victories belong to those who keep showing up.
The No Limits Challenge
Be faithful today. Not spectacular. Just faithful.
Prayer
Father, thank You that You don’t require perfection. Help me become a diligent man who remains faithful, perseveres through challenges, and honors You through consistency. Amen.
