Endure the Climb

I’ve learned that most worthwhile things in life involve a climb.

Marriage takes work. Parenting takes work. Faith takes work. Friendships take work.

And if we’re honest, there are days when we wish things were easier.

But easy things rarely produce lasting things.

Solomon reminds us that there is dignity in faithful work. There is value in staying with the responsibilities God has placed in front of us instead of constantly chasing shortcuts.

Because shortcuts often promise more than they deliver. Meanwhile, faithfulness quietly keeps producing fruit.

Jesus embraced the work His Father had given Him. He never looked for easier paths or cheaper sacrifices.

Love kept Him faithful.

Seneca wrote: “Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.”

Growth happens through the climb.
