Slow Growth Is Beautiful
Day 342 of 365 • FAITH

Proverb Truth
When I was younger, I wanted fast results. Fast success. Fast answers. Fast growth. But life has taught me that most beautiful things grow slowly.
Oak trees grow slowly. Strong marriages grow slowly. Character grows slowly. Friendships grow slowly. And faith grows slowly.
I’ve learned that God is rarely in a hurry. And honestly, I’m grateful for that. Because if God worked as quickly as I wanted Him to, I would have missed many of the lessons that required time.
Perhaps that’s because God is more interested in depth than speed. Because deep roots sustain trees during storms. And deep roots sustain people too.
Jesus in Action
Jesus spent thirty years preparing for three years of ministry. Thirty years. That truth humbles me. Because God never wastes seasons of preparation.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Life is very short and anxious for those who forget the past, neglect the present, and fear the future.” And perhaps growth happens best when we simply remain planted.
The No Limits Challenge
Stop comparing your progress to someone else’s timeline. Trust God’s pace.
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your patience with me. Help me embrace slow growth and trust that You are working even when I cannot see immediate results. Amen.
