The Older I Get, the More I Admire Steadiness

Proverb Truth
I’ve noticed something interesting over the years. The people I’ve admired most weren’t always the most gifted. They weren’t always the most talented. Or the most successful. Or the most celebrated. But they were steady. They showed up. They kept their word. They stayed faithful.
Because righteous men fall too. They fail. They stumble. They get discouraged. But by God’s grace, they get back up.
I’ve had my share of mistakes. Moments I wish I could revisit. Words I wish I could take back. But I’ve learned something beautiful. God doesn’t require perfection. He requires surrender. And faithful men are not men who never fall. They’re men who keep getting back up.
Jesus in Action
Peter denied Jesus three times. Yet Jesus restored him. Because failure was never the end of Peter’s story. And it isn’t the end of ours either.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.” And perhaps that’s why God wastes nothing. Not even our failures.
The No Limits Challenge
Stop focusing on perfection. Focus on faithfulness. Get back up.
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your grace. Thank You that my failures do not define me and that Your mercy is new every morning. Teach me to rise again. To persevere. And to trust that You are still writing my story. Amen.
