Some of God’s Best Gifts Were Unplanned

If there’s one thing life has taught me, it’s that very few things happen exactly according to plan. And honestly, that’s probably a good thing.

Because looking back, many of the greatest blessings in my life weren’t things I planned. Friendships. Opportunities. Unexpected doors. Lessons I didn’t know I needed. Even some of the hardships that I once resisted eventually became gifts.

I smile when I think about all the plans I thought were essential. And how God, in His wisdom, often had something better in mind. Not easier. But better.

And honestly, I’m thankful God is wiser than I am.

Jesus surrendered Himself completely to the Father’s will. Not because it was easy. But because He trusted the Father’s heart.

Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Accept whatever comes to you woven in the pattern of your destiny.” And Scripture reminds us that our destiny rests in the hands of a loving Father.
