God Has Been Better Than I Deserve

Proverb Truth
The older I get, the more one truth continues to humble me. God has been better to me than I deserve. Far better.
Not because life has been perfect. It hasn’t. Not because every prayer was answered exactly the way I wanted. They weren’t. But because through every season, God has remained faithful.
Looking back, I can honestly say there were countless blessings I never even recognized at the time. Closed doors that protected me. Delays that prepared me. Disappointments that redirected me. And mercy I certainly didn’t deserve.
Perhaps that’s one of the gifts of age. You begin to see God’s fingerprints everywhere. And what once felt ordinary begins to feel miraculous.
Jesus in Action
Every good and perfect gift ultimately points us back to the Father. And Jesus came to reveal the heart of that Father. A heart overflowing with grace.
Forged Wisdom
Marcus Aurelius wrote: “Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together.” And Scripture would say: Love the God whose providence brought them all.
The No Limits Challenge
Spend five minutes simply thanking God. No requests. Only gratitude.
Prayer
Father, You have been far better to me than I deserve. Thank You for Your grace, Your patience, and Your faithfulness. Help me never lose sight of how good You have been. Amen.
