Treasure Hunting

“If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.”

Proverb Truth
As kids, many of us dreamed about finding buried treasure.
We imagined old maps, secret caves, and hidden riches waiting to be discovered.
Funny thing is, most treasures worth having aren’t found accidentally.
Strong marriages don’t happen by accident. Deep friendships don’t happen by accident. Neither does wisdom.
Solomon says wisdom must be pursued like treasure. That means showing up consistently. Opening God’s Word. Praying when we don’t feel like it. Listening. Learning. Growing.
The truth is, we usually find what we’re looking for. If we’re chasing comfort, we’ll find comfort. If we’re chasing success, we’ll find opportunities. But if we’re pursuing God and His wisdom, we’ll discover something that lasts far longer than anything money can buy.
Jesus in Action
Jesus often withdrew from the crowds to spend time with His Father.
Even with endless demands surrounding Him, He prioritized what mattered most. He understood that wisdom grows in quiet places.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “As long as you live, keep learning how to live.”
The pursuit never ends. Neither should our hunger for wisdom.
The No Limits Challenge
Spend ten extra minutes in God’s Word today. Treat it like treasure.
Prayer
Father, give me a hunger for Your wisdom. Help me seek You with the same passion the world uses to pursue temporary things. Amen.
