Put Down the Phone

I sometimes wonder if one of the greatest challenges families face today isn’t a lack of love. It’s distraction.

Relationships cannot thrive on leftovers. They require attention. Because attention is one of the purest forms of love.

Years from now, our children probably won’t remember how quickly we responded to emails. But they’ll remember whether we looked them in the eye.

Jesus never hurried through people. He noticed. He listened. He was present. And because He was present, people felt loved.
