Apologies Build Bridges

Proverb Truth
One of the things age has taught me is that pride is expensive. Over time, I’ve learned that being right and making things right are not always the same thing.
Relationships matter more than winning arguments. The best thing I could say wasn’t always a defense. Sometimes it was simply: “I’m sorry.” “I was wrong.” “Will you forgive me?”
Pride builds walls. Humility builds bridges.
Jesus in Action
Jesus possessed all truth and all authority, yet His life was marked by gentleness and humility. He never used truth as a weapon. He used it to heal.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.” And perhaps nowhere is that opportunity more important than at home.
The No Limits Challenge
If an apology needs to be made, don’t wait. Take the first step.
Prayer
Father, help me value relationships more than pride. Teach me to apologize quickly, forgive freely, and pursue peace. Amen.
