Home Is Holy Ground

Proverb Truth
When I was younger, I thought a house was mostly about square footage. But life has taught me that homes are built with much more than lumber and bricks.
Homes are built with words. With laughter. With forgiveness. With traditions. With meals shared around the table.
Some of my favorite memories involve things that cost very little. Pizza nights. Vacations. Conversations around the table. At the time, none of those moments seemed particularly extraordinary. But looking back, they’ve become treasures.
Because love transforms ordinary places into sacred ones.
Jesus in Action
Jesus spent much of His earthly life in homes. He ate meals with friends. He attended family celebrations. Perhaps ordinary family life is holy ground.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness.” And perhaps nowhere is that opportunity greater than at home.
The No Limits Challenge
Look around your home today. Thank God for the people who fill it.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of home. Help me create an atmosphere of love, grace, and joy within these walls. Amen.
