Carry Each Other’s Burdens

There have been seasons in my life when I simply didn’t have the strength to carry everything by myself. And if we’re not careful, pride whispers that we should handle it all alone.

But I’ve learned something through the years. Strength isn’t pretending you don’t need help. Strength is having the humility to receive it.

Because burdens become lighter when they’re shared. And perhaps that’s why brotherhood matters so much. Not because we always have answers. But because we have shoulders.

Jesus carried the burdens of others everywhere He went. He wept with grieving families. He comforted broken hearts. And ultimately, He carried our greatest burden to the cross.

Epictetus wrote: “Difficulties are things that show what men are.” And perhaps adversity reveals the beauty of true brotherhood.
