Lead the Man in the Mirror

Proverb Truth
As we come to the end of this month, there’s one truth that keeps rising to the surface.
Leadership begins within.
Before we lead a family. Before we lead a team. Before we lead a business, a ministry, or a community. We lead ourselves.
That’s where every journey starts. The man in the mirror knows the truth. He knows the battles nobody else sees. The fears. The habits. The victories. The compromises.
And while it’s tempting to focus on changing our circumstances, God is often more interested in changing us.
Because transformed men transform families. Transformed families transform communities. And transformed communities change the world.
But it starts here. It starts with the man in the mirror.
Jesus in Action
Jesus never asked others to become something He wasn’t already living Himself.
His leadership flowed from His character. His influence flowed from His integrity. And because He led Himself perfectly, He could lead others faithfully.
Forged Wisdom
Epictetus wrote: “No great thing comes into being all at once.”
Neither does character. It’s built one decision at a time.
The No Limits Challenge
Take a few minutes today and reflect on the growth God has produced in your life this month. Then thank Him for the work He is still doing.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the work You’ve begun in me. Continue shaping my heart, my habits, and my character. Help me faithfully lead the man in the mirror so that I may better serve the people You’ve entrusted to my care. Amen.
