Becoming the Man
Day 59 of 365 • FORMATION

Proverb Truth
As this month comes to an end, one truth stands out to me. God is patient.
Thankfully, He doesn’t expect us to have everything figured out overnight. Because if He did, most of us would lose hope pretty quickly. Instead, He works the way a sunrise works. Gradually. Quietly. Faithfully.
And maybe that’s why spiritual growth can be hard to recognize while it’s happening. Day by day, the changes seem small. But over time, God begins shaping our thoughts, our habits, our attitudes, and our character.
Little by little, we become different men. Not perfect men. But better men. Men who are more patient. More faithful. More grateful. More like Christ. And perhaps that’s what becoming the man God created us to be has always been about.
Not arriving. Not achieving perfection. But walking faithfully with Him and allowing Him to do His work in us. One day at a time.
Jesus in Action
Jesus called ordinary men and patiently transformed them over time.
Peter wasn’t finished overnight. Neither were James or John. And neither are we. The Savior who began the work is faithful to complete it.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “While we teach, we learn.”
Growth is a lifelong journey.
The No Limits Challenge
Look back over this month and thank God for one area where you’ve grown. Then trust Him with what still needs work.
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your patience with me. Thank You for loving me enough not to leave me where I am. Continue shaping me into the man You created me to be. Help me trust the process and walk faithfully with You, one day at a time. Amen.
