Don’t Waste Your Winters

Proverb Truth
I’ve discovered something about life. Not every season is spring. Not every chapter feels productive. And not every year is filled with growth we can immediately see. There are winters.
Seasons when progress feels slow. Seasons when prayers seem unanswered. Seasons when energy is low and the road ahead feels uncertain.
But age has taught me that winters have a purpose too. Trees grow roots during winter. Fields rest during winter. And perhaps souls do as well.
Looking back, some of the deepest lessons I’ve learned came during seasons I never would have chosen. Because hidden growth is still growth. And perhaps some of God’s greatest work happens underground.
Jesus in Action
Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness before His ministry began. Even the Son of God experienced seasons of preparation. And perhaps preparation is never wasted.
Forged Wisdom
Seneca wrote: “Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.” And perhaps winters strengthen the soul.
The No Limits Challenge
Stop resisting your current season. Ask God what He wants to teach you in it.
Prayer
Father, thank You for every season, even the difficult ones. Help me trust that You are working beneath the surface and remind me that hidden growth is still growth. Amen.
