Your definition of “enough” determines your peace. If “enough” keeps moving, peace stays out of reach.
Because there will always be more to chase. More to build. More to acquire. And if your standard is based on comparison or pressure, satisfaction never settles in.
You’ve likely felt that. Achieving something you once wanted—only to feel the need for the next thing almost immediately.
That’s the cycle. But gratitude breaks it. It allows you to recognize what you already have—not as temporary, but as meaningful. As sufficient for this season.
Jesus lived from that place. Simple. Focused. Unmoved by excess. Because His value wasn’t tied to accumulation—it was tied to alignment.
When you redefine “enough,” you regain control.
