Celebrate Other People

I’ve noticed something beautiful about grateful people. They’re usually generous with encouragement. They celebrate others. They cheer for people. They genuinely enjoy someone else’s success.

I’ve discovered that comparison shrinks the heart. But celebration expands it.

These days, I find genuine joy in seeing friends succeed. In watching younger people grow. In celebrating the victories of others. Because their blessing doesn’t diminish mine. God’s goodness is not limited.

And perhaps one of the surest signs of maturity is the ability to rejoice when someone else shines.

Jesus continually celebrated faith wherever He found it. He lifted people up. Encouraged them. Blessed them. And perhaps heaven itself rejoices whenever God’s children rejoice together.

Marcus Aurelius wrote: “What is not good for the hive is not good for the bee.” Beautiful wisdom. Because we were never meant to thrive alone.
