Wealth Is Measured Differently

Proverb Truth
I’ve known wealthy people who were miserable. And I’ve known people with very little who seemed rich beyond measure. That used to confuse me. Until life taught me that wealth and possessions are not the same thing.
Because some men have money but no peace. Some have success but no friendships. Some have houses but no homes.
I’ve come to believe that wealth is measured differently than I once thought. A good marriage is wealth. Healthy children are wealth. Deep friendships are wealth. Good health is wealth. Peace with God is wealth. And perhaps gratitude is wealth.
Looking back, some of the richest seasons of my life had very little to do with dollars. They involved memories. Conversations. Laughter. Vacations. Ordinary evenings around the table.
Because in the end, the things that matter most are not things. They’re people. And perhaps heaven has been trying to teach us that all along.
Jesus in Action
Jesus taught people to store treasures in heaven because He understood that earthly treasures are temporary. But love. Faith. And relationships endure forever.
Forged Wisdom
Epictetus wrote: “No man is free who is not master of himself.” And perhaps true wealth begins with a free heart.
The No Limits Challenge
Redefine wealth. Write down ten blessings that have nothing to do with money.
Prayer
Father, help me measure wealth the way You do. Teach me to treasure relationships, faith, and peace above possessions. And remind me that the greatest riches in life are often the things money cannot buy. Amen.
