Proverb Truth
Temptation always makes promises.
It promises excitement. It promises satisfaction. It promises that nobody will know. What it never tells us is the price. Solomon reminds us that actions have consequences.
Not because God wants to punish us, but because He loves us enough to warn us.
Sin always costs more than we expect and delivers less than it promises.
Jesus in Action
Jesus faced temptation and overcame it. He chose obedience because He understood that faithfulness always leads to life.
Forged Wisdom
Epictetus taught: “No man is free who is a slave to his desires.”
Freedom comes through self-control.
The No Limits Challenge
Think beyond the moment. Consider where today’s choices will lead tomorrow.
Prayer
Father, strengthen me when temptation comes. Help me choose what leads to life and trust that Your ways are always best. Amen.
